Paderewski Symphony Orchestra of Chicago since 1997, and immediately, even though many sceptykw, has developed broad wings. The emergence of the classical music calendar, Polonia has prompted questions about musical education ...
When I realized that after the shows PASO conversations always end with questions about music lessons and narzekaniach the lack of glass, such as in Poland, decided to start a music school - just "such as in Poland." Living prompted the same place: I repaired the Eagles Sports Club purchased the former headquarters building at 5844 N. Congress Milwaukee and smelling of fresh paint room waiting for the host. During a special meeting of the Board gained the support Paderewski Symphony Orchestra, and signed a contract with the club. Wsppraca with the Board once the club was nice, based on mutual understanding and respekcie (bows in the direction of the Lord President Jzefa Zyzdy). The year was 2000.Our project was scoped with a flourish: included a music school, art classes and theater. With time, we focused on the music, as such proved to be the greatest need, and because of the limit of space we had to choose. This was the only compromise on what we agreed in the past 10 years. Organisation of school work we have relied on the Polish model, supplemented with elements of the program of the American school and a popular glass Orff and Suzuki. This is a music school for children, adolescents and adults - and this goes beyond the limitations of our Polish. There is still a great rnica: our school does not seem to egzaminw, our goal is to work with all children, because every child has the right to the music! We believe that every child benefits enormously from contact with the music - so we leave outside the Polish programs and seeking new ways of working. For example, we discovered that it is easier for children to learn together, though not in dispute that the basic condition for the development of the game is individual work with teacher. Almost all students participate in class violin lessons zespołw chamber. The effects can overwhelm our expectations. Children make rapid progress, willing to learn, like to play concerts, learn teamwork, loyalty, responsibility and discipline. There happened to have taken them to the task posed. Maintain steady progress enthusiasm, is a nice atmosphere, such as elderly is an incentive for younger, so this program is constantly evolving. Introduced new elements: workshops for children with outstanding musicians. Guitar lessons twice led Peter Dabrowski, Marcin Czarnecki (Los Desperados), vocal - Janusz Stoklosa and Janusz Jzefowicz, violin - Barbara and Wojciech Niewrzol, recently studied the history of music and prbowaliśmy gralskiej game after gralsku with Andrew Krzeptowskim .The nature of solid choreography of workshops took wsppraca of inestimable Magdalena Solarz, ktra able to create an attractive choreography for groups interrogates various regulations and - more importantly - was able to teach them a few prb. We are very grateful to Mrs. Magda, though the sweat is flowing and you have great work to satisfy its stringent requirements. It is very difficult to play and dance at the same time. For very precise work a violinist reaches the whole body coordination, and coordination with the group. I do not think I podołała such a task. Our students clearly tasted in wsplnej play and work with admirable commitment. Experience skrzypkw moving to piano and guitar - are rnice and similarities, probably wkrtce hear the results. Today, Academy PASO grants annually, more than 7,000 lessons and almost 4 thousand. lessons and principles of music theory, chamber music and chru zespołw.The achievements of the Academy uczniw numerous awards in competitions wyrnienia Polish and American school. Wsppracuje school every day with many Polish organizations, dance bands and artists from Chicago and Polish. Very successful young muzykw enjoy summer music camps at Camp Vista (WI). School students participate in many artistic events, social and charitable giving each year for about 20 concerts to the community and the U.S.. The former pupils are already studying at the faculties of American musical institution.
